No Kid Hungry
Everyday hunger is mostly hidden in plain view. Those who live every day or any day hungry have learned to make themselves indistinguishable from anyone in a room. They camouflage themselves in the classroom or on the job in a shroud of normalcy. They practice supreme levels of focus and determination that would astonish most people just to get through the day. Anyone who can achieve this feat possesses inner strength akin to a superpower. Uncovering the motivations beneath this inner strength was the starting point for Buoyant's exploration, mainly Buoyant of No Kid Hungry. Buoyant created a video campaign called "What Are You Hungry For?" The first-person narratives follow young people 13-25 from diverse backgrounds as they discuss their passions, challenges, and accomplishments.
Buoyant produced a signature video highlighting No Kid Hungry's collaboration with the American Association of Pediatrics (AAP). In this video, Buoyant follow the lives of three families as they describe their experiences navigating the food and federal benefits systems. The video was featured at AAP's annual conference and used for No Kid Hungry's website. Additionally, Buoyant created a separate video tailored for social media platforms to reach a wider audience.
